I know everyone has probably seen these images before but if anyone can be classified as my Muse it is this woman; she is the gorgeous Mother of 4 who is seemingly most famous for being a bridesmaid at Princess Diana's wedding although i think her style alone catapults her way above this gig! She is the daughter of legendary designer David Hicks; and what is also very cool is that at a young age she said good bye to a privileged London life after meeting the love of her life and moved to the Bahama's to bring up her young family. Most of these images are from her collection of houses that were designed and built by her Father David and are rented out on Harbour Island in the Bahama's www.hibiscushillharbourisland.com

I just can not get enough of her style; if you love it to she has a book called "Island Style" which was given to me by a very stylish friend of mine - Thanks Lauren!;)

India in a gorgeous yellow maxi dress - oh and i did mention she was also a former model...

India in her office - she is partial to a bit of dusty pink - this is the colour of the girl's room in Paddo (Ella and Gigi's choice!)

White floors - how can i not love her?!

Every time i see a birdcage for sale in a shop i think about buying it..just because of this photo..

Love an elephant thrown in for quintessential British Indian Style

Deck chairs for an indoor dining chair - love it! We are getting a painted white table custom made for our Paddo Breakfast area by Beechwood Designs in Avalon www.beechwood.com.au they have a great range of Coastal inspired furniture and can custom make most furniture pieces at a reasonable price

This image is from David Hick's house at Windermere Island; also love these multicoloured dining chairs combined with a white table; Mark Tuckey www.marktuckey.com.au sell chairs like these (they have a great showroom at 303 Barrenjoey Rd, Newport, Sydney)

Black and white deck chairs - nice to be dining on the sand amongst a forest of Palms!

India is big on Palm fronds in vases; i have stolen this look for Palmy - i permanently have a vase filled with banana leaves on a console table

Love the hat storage! Loving that dusty pink sofa as well (not sure the hubby would be on board though!)

India's parrot Jenga! If you look closely it actually features in most of the photo's!

Jenga the parrot (apparently he is a really grumpy bird! given to India by her inlaw's for Xmas a few years ago!) I would loovveee this photo as a piece of art!! No doubt India is also a talented photographer (she also designs jewellery and is an author...)

Love this cluster of art works in the middle of two beds - oh the symmetry

Another Chinoiserie styled white table that i love..of course looks even more amazing with mixed bougainvillaea

Another amazing birdcage and palm frond..signature India;)
