My obsession with Moroccan Interiors is well known to everyone that knows me so it should come of no surprise that my tile of choice for our Palmy bathroom renno is of course Moroccan. I have been a long time follower of this design duo - they may have even been the seed that was sown many years ago that spurned my obsession with Morocco - Caitlin Dowe Sandes and husband Samuel of Popham tiles made the move from the US to Marrakech to well design tiles (is there any better place to do it!) they specialise in the cement encaustic tiles which of late have become a little too popular for my likings (all good things eventually do) but i still absolutely love them so i will be using them as our floor tiles...the only decision is which tile to choose?! Thankfully Onsite at Paddington stock an amazing selection of the Popham tiles which has made my selection process easier (bathrooms are hard right?!) i also got tipped off (thanks Denise) that the Popham couples new Marrakech house is being featured on Elle Decor.com - so sorry if you have already seen these images but i think they are too good not to re post;)

Caitlan and Samuel - the husband and wife Duo of Popham Design; is anyone else loving these wedged shoes that Caitlan is sporting?!

So obsessed with tis outdoor area...people great is the new white!! love this gravel that they have used as ground cover ( i wanted to use this for our driveway in Paddo but my landscaper wouldn't let me!)

So the Elle Decor story is about how they renovated their new 'rented' house in Marrakech in a matter of weeks - landlords and builders must be of a different breed in Morocco! i am in love with these floor tiles - they came in a close second choice for the palmy bathroom floor...and how cool are these painted stripes on the wall - could only get away with this in Morocco!

The tiles at Onsite..i seriously love them but i may get sick of seeing them after a few years?!

So i have decided to go for these hexagonal babies in light grey, blue, ivory and light green..i was very close to including the pink but my Mum talked me out of it!

I am kind of obsessed with these as well (they are yellow after all) although Onsite don't stock them..

Another fabulous bathroom featuring the Popham tiles..

Wow - i am not sure i would want to walk into this bathroom everyday but it is certainly amazing to look at for a few minutes - that turquoise blue bath makes it..loving that blue and white striped towel - sourcing it!!

More hexagonal glory - love how they have tiled around and up the fireplace...loving that red blanket as well!

Their daughters bedroom - love this vintage bed!

A red juju looking amazing against this turquoise painted room

I think i am going to have to just paint a room this colour when my husband is not looking just to get it out of my system as i am totally obsessed with having just one room this colour..

This couple just have it in terms of the style stakes..such original and quirky design which just happens to look fabulous - that pendant light!

I am sorry but no one else is pulling off these stripes in the hallway apart from this couple - design mavens!! and again..that pendant light!!
