First of all thank you to everyone who popped into our Pop Up shop - so nice to meet you all and so nice to know that my blog actually gets read! As much as i whinged about how tortuous retail was we did have a lot of fun - huge thanks to Lauren and Genevieve (Walter G girls) for organising the space and for including me and for all the laughs!

Now onto the Monday Muse - Tamsin Johnson is a Sydney based Interior Designer whom I  have been style stalking for a while but trying to get images of her work has been a little tricky as i think like most interior designers having to fork out for a professional photographer can be a rather large expense. She has also only recently set up shop on her own (she worked for Meacham Nockles McQuarter in Sydney) and before this she studied at the Inchbald School of Design in London.

Tamsin's parents are antiques dealers and you can totally tell as this girl as a serious eye for the old and the amazing pieces - she mixes these with 20th century design and even sells her curated pieces from her site www.tamsinjohnson.com.au her style is colourful and just plain cool she mixes in the old and the new to create comfortable spaces that ooze personality that are easy to live in.

I am slightly addicted to Tamsin's Tumbler page (told you i was stalking!) - trust me you will be too! tamsinjohnson.tumblr.com i have included some images from here as they were just too good not to include...enjoy the eye candy;)

Tamsin in her Darling Point apartment - the girl knows her Art too!

Her husband is Patrick Johnson the Tailer - Tamsin did his new Sth Melbourne shop - they wanted to create a comfortable and inviting space without the stuffiness that people think is associated with traditional tailors - of course i am loving this round yellow rug AND the white floors

Another image of the Sth Melbourne Patrick Johnson Tailor shop - those antique chairs are fabulous in that geometric fabric

Now on to her Tumbler site - told you i had limited images to work with! This room is perfection for me - simple, a mix of the old and the new and a splash of colour

She features the most amazing collection of classic furniture pieces on her tumbler - slightly in love with this coffee table by Gabriella Crespi

We clearly share a love of banana leafed palms

Tamsin was showing these cupboards as an example of latticed joinery..love

I think this might have been one of her travel pics - a building in Rome..the yellow how can i not love it?!

White bougainvillaea...this looks to be in a Moroccan Riad

Tamsin is to blame for my recent obsession with brass tap ware

Amazing Ink art work - love a cluster of frames on a wall

I have posted this on my IG - dream home..those shutters..that palm tree

Don't know where this photo was taken needless to say i want to be there..NOW!

Love a bit of built in joinery..have a penchant for these bamboo woven blinds - used them in the girls room at Paddo - they soften up a room really well

Another example of Tamsin's impeccable eye for 20th Century pieces - these are French 1950's..i want them..all four of them!

Tamsin and i share a love of duck egg blue - looks amazing against this wood and corian top kitchen

Pierre Jeannerat chairs....love

cobblestones and wysteria!!

Just when i thought decking was the best choice for around a pool..eek this stone work is amazing

Love this marble sink and these tiles

Pink marble - if only i could be brave enough!?

comfort personified..built in circular seating..take me there too! (maybe after i have come back from that ocean dip image i will come and have an afternoon siesta in here)

I have long been obsessed with this house - its in the Caribbean; white floors; wooden shutters - we have similar plans for our Palmy reno if only we could find a builder who could meet our architects estimated cost!?? what is with building costs these days!!

Till next week xx
