Well not yet but a very exciting photo shoot happened yesterday for Madison Magazine  and here is hoping the photo's will make the cut!;) The crew (a very talented, friendly and relaxed stylist, photographer and hair/make up artist) arrived at 9am and let me tell you it was the first time i made the girls sandwiches the night before and it will not be the last!!

I was literally in the make up chair for 2 hours (didn't help that the maine had to be blow dried straight) so i missed out on the styling/shooting that happened upstairs (i was hoping to sticky beak); then it was time for me to feature (eek!) i tried to pose naturally (i really don't know how the models do it) as if i just always happen to stand at my front door smiling out at the street;)

It was such a fun morning and was all over by lunch time; i then had to make the school run in a full face of make up (yes i did get a few strange looks). Once home I took some snaps of my own of the house before the after school tornado hit.....

Posing at the front door

Close up;)

Our new door mat arrived just in time from www.potterybarn.com (can not wait until they open in Bondi Junction!) my friends later informed me that there shouldn't be an apostrophe! (how embarrassing for me a typo at the front door for the whole of Paddington to see)

Fern (amazing hair and make up artist) literally followed me around the shoot ensuring i was looking picture perfect (could do with that on a daily basis)

Me in very slow motion opening the back door

Me casually half standing half sitting in our breakfast nook whilst Fern attends to the maine

Snapping from the pool deck

I finally got the outdoor cushions made up - used an 'Orchestra' black and white stripe (not bad at $40/psqm) and piped it in blue just to be a little bit different;) The girls have finally got their own table and chairs which they eat dinner at (alfresco) got the set from www.sokol.com

Our shelves have finally been dressed with the help of our awesome neighbour Christiana (who happens to be an interior designer)

Also a huge thanks to our good friend and Artist George Raftopoulos who lent us a few of his amazing pieces to fill some empty walls..if only we could keep them!

The girls bedroom is finally coming together - our pom poms from www.confettisystem.com are up (they are lovingly handmade in NY and come in the most gorgeous array of colours) The yellow cushions are from www.templeandwebster.com.au

My ebay gamble paid off - vintage Gucci scarf from Canada (literally took months to arrive thought it was definitely 'lost' in the post) has been framed and hung..pretty happy with it! The bed linen and wall lights are from Restoration Hardware

Snap of the girl's wardrobe with the built in reading nook

Another reading nook in the attic (still trying to find some time to actually read in these nooks!)

Our bedroom; bedside table from Exhibit furniture; pendant light from Enoki Les Interiors which used to be at Newport (now at Glenmore Rd Paddington!)

Snap from Attic stairs (girls bedroom on left, hubby's study/man cave on the right)

Finished the day off with a swim - what is with this scorching weather in March!
