I know you are all probably getting a bit sick of seeing images of our Paddo house but i can't help but share these photo's taken by photographer Dominic Loneragan (one half of the dynamic blogging and candle making couple that is Citizens of the World). Dominic is the photographer and Meghan is the writer = great blog! www.hellocitizens.com focuses on fashion, travel and interiors all with amazing images and clever writing...and if that wasn't enough they also manage to make their own candles which really do smell amazeballs i was gifted with 'Last Resort' which combines coconut, lime and vanilla = yum!

(AND yes there is even a video which includes me mumbling away about my favourite parts and pieces of the house - don't you just hate hearing your own voice!?)

Me sitting on the reupholstered vintage chesterfield couch (i bought it at John and Ginger at Freshwater in its original faded blue velvet; there was an unfortunate vomiting incident at Ella's 5th birthday party which fast tracked the reupholstery!) I am wearing a J Crew silk shirt (the best cut and half the price of Equipment!)

Our sitting room with one of our Paddo to Palmy Beni Ouarain rugs, chistopher Farr upholstered arm chairs and Walter G cushions, the pendant light is made from coconut husk from Gia Collectione

Our Master bedroom - bedhead upholstered in China Seas fabric (from NY) ivory blanket is our Paddo to Palmy pom pom blanket, pendant lights are from Enoki, paint colour is Porters Distant Blue which actually looked more grey on the sample  - in my experience they always come up a lot brighter on the walls!

Our Curved stairwell designed by Luigi Rosselli (our architect); sisal carpet from natural floor coverings

Our kitchen: V groove painted MDF timber and honed carrara marble (Corelli Joinery was our joiner) i am so close to replacing these tolix stools - they are just too everywhere now!

close up of our curved island hence with built in book shelves - was designed so that the books would curve around the corners - clearly need more cooking books! our floorboards are the wide board Porter's American Oak in lime wash

Our Oliver Watts paper cuts of the girls which i love - Oli exhibits at Chalk Horse Gallery in Surry Hills www.chalkhorse.com.au

Our newly acquired Miranda Skoczek www.mirandaskoczek.com paper pieces..just in case our house wasn't colourful enough before! Miranda fell in love with one of my Moroccan rugs i fell in love with these neon framed beauties - love me some contra!

More Art!! - George Raftopoulos www.georgeraftopoulos.com.au canvases leaning layered on our joinery

Our living area looking unusually tidy..i literally spend half of my day sitting at my laptop on our leather bench seat

Luckily i have a very nice outlook - hence my favourite part of the house (we do have an office but obviously i prefer to work down here!)

From the outside looking in..Luigi's curves on full display

The outdoor kitchen..we do love a BBQ..our landscaping was done by Secret Gardens
