Today I had my site meeting at Paddo after being away for 2 weeks and i am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel - we actually have something that resembles a house!! (Will post updated photo's later in week).

After the meeting i was lured by a good friend to a photography exhibition in a beautiful Spanish Mission style home in Woollahra (ok not Paddo) and was very thankful for stopping by - i picked up two gorgeous framed photo's by photographer Jeannette Lloyd Jones that were taken on her recent travels through India. The exhibition is called MOTHER INDIA and 100% of the profit from sales will be donated to 'Working for Animals, India' a charity that helps animal shelters and Elephant and Camel rescue projects. If you would like to view any of her works the exhibition will be open by appointment please email jeannettelj@hotmail.com or phone 0411 224 281.

One of the photograph's that i bought - such a serene image and love the Yoga reference

The 2nd photograph that i bought - love the colours and the bathing ritual that has been captured here; will definitely hang one underneath the other possibly in our Paddo dining room - if i can find a spare wall!

The beautiful Spanish Mission style Home Villa d'Este that Jeannette lives in - gosh i really have a soft spot for this architecture

The front entrance - even the statue lions were in Indian themed wearing orange garlands;)

One of the many gorgeously styled vignettes displaying one of the framed photographs by Jeannette

Her beautiful Living room was transformed into a gallery

I loved all of the photograph's - was really hard to choose!

The house was filled with Batik fabrics - which Jeannette used to import into Australia - how could i not love her or her beautiful house!

I looovvved this Ikat fabric covered mirror

Pot plants in bloom..so cute against the white walls and green shutters

Pink Azalea's in full bloom - stunning garden

These beautiful flowers lined the front of the house - i don't know the name of these?? But love them! My plant knowledge obviously quite limited..

Such beautiful details - houses are just not built like this these days

The price list - framed photographs are $500 each which i thought was really reasonable and with all proceeds going to such a good cause
