Yes Pool'S; on top of doing the renovation at Paddington we are also putting in a pool at Palmy - on top of a cliff. At Paddington we are doing a pool renovation; we are actually making the pool smaller (goes back to the ratio of too much yard to house). The inspiration for Palm Beach were the following pools- we wanted to feel like we were in the Greek Isles - yes we really aim high for our briefs!

This is my favourite beachfront house on Watego's Beach Byron Bay (probably the best location in Australia if not the world), the house was designed by Alex Popov & Associates

We have tried to replicate this pool tile at Palmy

Somewhere is Greece

Greece again...

and again...sigh

Bali

So in a rush to get the Palmy pool in before Summer (hopefully we get one this year!) we started in May and have made really good progress - pictures speak 1000 words!

This deck had to be pulled down to make way for the pool

This is the cliff that the pool is being built on

Deck gone and feeling a little exposed - the word fish bowl springs to mind!

Form work complete and steel in ready for the concrete pour

Concrete in, rendered and waterproofed now awaiting the tiler to arrive on Monday! Will of course keep you posted;)
