No trip to Europe (or North Africa for that matter) is complete with out a stopover in Paris. So after my whirlwind buying trip to Morocco thats exactly what i did.

Paris to me is the ultimate destination - it has the best fashion, pastries, galleries, hot chocolates, cheese, architecture and most importantly....crepes;)

This is my top 10 list of things to do in this ridiculously beautiful City..

1. Doors....Even with Google maps i still manage to get lost in Paris - does anyone else find the City hard to navigate? probably because i am spending more time stopping to take photo's of all of the ridiculously beautiful doors and architectural features rather than looking at the map - its not for everyone but i could and i have spent a few hours just wandering around St Germaine taking photo's of doors

2. Hot Chocolates with croissants - its a bit yuck but seriously delicious..stop at any of the 1000's of cafes and try it..dip the croissant in your hot chocolate!

3. After you have loaded up on pastries walk or hail a taxi for Printemps..i head straight to the 3rd floor where it starts to get a little more affordable..think Sandro, Maje, Cacharel, Tara Jarmon, Kenzo, Paul & Joe all on one floor and don't forget to claim the 20% tax back!

I may have bought this dress...

4. Steak Tartare...i have a serious addiction to this, only a few years back i was grossed out by the thought of eating raw meat but with the right seasoning (the French nail it) this is beyond delicious especially when fries are served on the side

5. Patisserie - stop by your nearest patisserie and pick up a treat; my favourites are peach tart tartin followed by a coffee eclair...

6. Then i take a nice walk via Place Du Vendome i.e jewellers lane - think Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier - clearly window shopping only

7. Louvre - even if you don't have the energy to go in its nice just to soak up some sun at the fountain in front

8. Eifel Tower  - its a cliche but is always well worth the ride up to the top; if you want to avoid the queue and don't mind splashing out on serious gorgeous fare make a reservation at Le Jules Verne (It's Alain Ducasse so he does know how to charge but dining on top of the Eifel Tower is a pretty special spot to justify a splurge)

9. Luxembourg Gardens - this garden just blows me away every time

10. Shopping for cheese...ok so this has turned into a bit of a food list..sorry about that!
